The deadline approaches, get your taxes done now!
The April 15th deadline is fast approaching and for the procrastinators, who have put off doing their taxes, now is the time to get it done. Depending on the complexity of your taxes, you can either do it yourself or find a CPA who can file them for you.
It is no secret that not everyone gets a refund, but if you do owe taxes, paying them isn’t as hard as it used to be. There are online options to easily, and safely, pay or make payments for anything you owe.
If you were planning to just not file your taxes, I would think again. There is no hiding from the IRS. Skipping to file taxes all together incorporates a minimum of a 5% monthly fee that maxes out at 25% for anything you owe. On top of that, if you wait longer than 60 days to file, you are subject to a $135 fine or 100% of the taxes you owe, whichever is less.
Nobody can hide from Uncle Sam, but there are reasonable options available for those who have to pay in.
